DUCOR “Partenija Zografski” Skopje is the only school for secondary vocational education for students with hearing impairment in the Republic of Macedonia.

Organized activity in the plan of training this population in the Republic began in 1953 when a group of young people began studying the carpentry and carpet weaving trades. The foundations of the Center were laid when the Main Board of the Deaf of the NRM established the – “Lower Vocational School for Deaf Children in the Economy”.

A complete educational system in the Republic of Macedonia was established on 17.05.1955 when, by Decision of the Executive Council of the National Assembly of the NRM No. 137, the activity of the Center under the name “Vocational Vocational School with Practical Training for Deaf Children” was verified.

The past period is characterized as a period of constant growth, creating quality conditions for the realization of the contents of the activity, providing spatial conditions, material and technical equipment, providing modern visual and didactic tools, technical devices and aids, which is of particular importance for this category of students.
